Anglers agree that Yellowtail snapper is some of the best-tasting fish found in these tropical waters, and this is most likely attributed to its small size. The general size of Yellowtail caught in the Florida Keys is in the 10-12 lb. range. Look for the yellow stripe along the Yellowtail’s body, which distinguishes it from other fish in the area.
