Marlin

Considered by many to be the greatest big-game prize in Florida, the Blue Marlin is common up to 500 lbs. with some over 800 lbs. caught in the Keys. They are notorious for being a strong and powerful fish, which will commonly jump out of the water only to dive back down in deep water. Also found in the Keys is the White Marlin, which is caught in the gulfstream and open ocean, and weighs up to 170 lbs.
